Hi everyone! My name is Guy Alexander Flynt, or you can call me Alex. Welcome to Fredy Blogs! I work as a Scientific Support Analyst with a privately owned company called Integrated Systems Solutions (ISS), a verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. I am a meteorologist, not like the person on tv, but one who forecasts the weather and such. You may be wondering about the website’s name, “Fredy Blogs”? My Nana and Papa were gifted at giving nicknames. For instance, they gave my golden retriever mix nicknames such as Jughead, Jugga, and Grinch Feet. His real name was Justice, why did they give him those nicknames, I am not sure, they had a knack for nicknames. Their favorite nickname for me was Fred. Sadly, my Nana passed away this past September in 2022, and as a remembrance, I named this website after her favorite nickname for me.
A Bit About My Personal Life
Currently, I work from home at State College, PA with my love. I am engaged to my lovely fiancée Christina Comer; we have been engaged for almost two years, and are getting married on October 29th, 2023 at Bella Collina Mansion! She is going to Penn State University getting her M.S. and Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science (I am very proud of her). She will be helping me edit and write some of these blogs, and has her section called “Nina Rants“. A women idealistic driven blog post that covers a wide range of topics that Cause Christina to rant!
My Hobbies Transformed Into Blog Posts
As you grow up, develop, and start working, you begin to understand what you like and dislike in life. You begin your journey of understanding your hobbies.
In graduate school, I learned that I have two passions; whisky and cooking. In Indiana, it is cold, and there is not much to do. Plus, a good whiskey warms up the heart on a cold day. Being in graduate school, I had to cook for myself, so I learned how to cook. Therefore, these are two topics that I will talk about on my blog website! Additionally, I started to really enjoy the school gym with my friend! Going to the gym was also good for my mental health and physical health while working on my thesis and school work. Also, again it is cold in Indiana, so there was not much to do outside!
Once I finished my M.S., I moved in with my lovely future wife. I got a big boy job in November, and learned three more hobbies; how to survive living a fast life (eating healthy and being mentally well), learning how to invest in the stock market, and COFFEE! I love coffee, and I will discuss all three topics frequently on the website.
Voicing My Opinion While Trying To Make Another Income Source
I made this blog website to serve two purposes, to voice my opinion and try to make another source of income. The first purpose matters most to me. I think that everyone’s opinions matter, your opinion may help someone else out. Someone having a rough day, a person needing a solution for a problem, or some light night reading. Your opinion is entertainment, fact, and information. I write these blog posts to be a source of entertainment, a place to unwind, and along the way, hope to inspire others to write or voice their own opinion.
I am trying to have no ads on my website as a way to let people read freely and have a better experience.
